Questions worth asking first
Is this accounting software?
No. It's small-business bookkeeping for day-to-day money: accounts, income and expenses, invoices, expense claims, and reports like profit and loss and cash flow. It doesn't do double-entry accounting, tax filing, or payroll tax, so keep your accountant or accounting tool for year-end.
Does Wrkbase email invoices to customers?
Yes. Pressing Send emails the customer a branded PDF with your logo, records the address it went to, and starts the clock on due dates and overdue alerts. The customer needs an email address on their record first. Payments are then recorded against the invoice.
Can customers pay invoices online?
No. There are no payment links or card processing. When a payment arrives, record it on the invoice (or confirm a suggested match from your bank import) and it's added to your income automatically.
Can employees submit expense claims?
Yes. Employees, managers, and the Boss can submit a claim with a category, amount, date, and receipt by default. An approver approves it or rejects it with a reason, and the submitter is notified either way. Marking it paid from an account records the expense.
Can I import my bank transactions?
Yes. Upload your bank's CSV: the sign of each amount decides income or expense, rows already recorded are flagged as duplicates, and Wrkbase suggests which income matches which open invoice for you to confirm.
